Summers are here with a bang, everyone is under lock down due to second wave of pandemic and confined in their homes.
Mangoes too have made their presence felt and how can I not make something easier like 4 ingredient Mango Frooti Recipe | Mango Fruity.
It was playing on my mind as my kids love various homemade summer drinks/coolers like
Tadgola (ice apple) summer cooler
This is very simple to make and tastes exactly the same as we get it in market.

Step by step instructions and pictorial presentation to make Mango Frooti recipe | Mango Fruity
Peel and chop both variety of mangoes. Grind them in mixer jar and add half a cup of water to make a smooth puree.
Transfer this puree to a wide pan and switch on the flame. Bring it to boil and add sugar and 1/4 cup of water.
Keep stirring in constantly. After around 5 minutes you will notice that the mango mixture will start to thicken. Cook this for 2 more minutes and switch off the flame.
Now strain this mixture through sieve so that all the fibre from the mixture is separated. Cool this mango mixture completely.
To this, add around 2 litre of chilled water while you serve. Or store this into airtight glass jar and refrigerate for further use.
Notes
1. To make this recipe I have used Alphanso mangoes. You may use any variety of mango but make sure the fruit is less fibrous.
2. Quantity of sugar depends on the sourness of mangoes, it can be increased or decreased.
3. Before switching off the flame, you may add 1 tsp of lemon juice to increase the shelf life of frooti. I haven’t as I love to make this fresh and in smaller quantities.

- 1 Raw mango
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 liter chilled water
