My favourite fruit Tadgola
Also known as nongu, nunggu, palm fruit, ice apple, my tryst with this fruit, tadgola goes long way. I have been introduced to this fruit by one of my Office colleagues, who is a Maharashtrian.
It took me some time to get used to eat this slimy fruit and I would say, I fell in love with this wonderfully delicious fruit.
This fruit is generally eaten raw. The centre of this fruit is filled with delicious juice which tastes like coconut water.
So today I thought to make some interesting, mojito style drink from this humble fruit tadgola. This tasted so soothing with chunks of tadgola in it.
