Papad a very versatile ingredient

We Sindhi’s eat papad with every meal. In olden days whenever the guests visited a Sindhi house, the first thing offered to them, with water was roasted Papad.

Though the times have changed now and everyone has become more health conscious, the usage of papad has reduced gradually.

Papad being a versatile ingredient, it can be converted into a snack by serving it as masala papad by sprinkling chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, chaat masala and red chilli powder.

Or can make Moong sprouts papad pocket rolls which is one hearty snack to munch on for a change.
