I chose this super simple chocolate chip cookie recipe to begin my cookie post journey on the blog, that comes together quickly and uses things that you probably have already in your pantry!

So let’s get back to our kitchens and start baking these super simple double chocolate chip cookies.
Procedure to make Double chocolate chip cookies | Chocolate chip cookies
Cup measurements
1 cup = 250 ml
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C for at least 10 minutes.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl take softened butter, sugar and whisk it well using wire whisk/ hand mixer/stand mixer till it becomes creamy and smooth.
To this add dry ingredients one by one. Sift all purpose flour first and then cocoa powder.
Mix it well till incorporated and add grated dark chocolate. Mix again to make a nice firm dough.
If the dough is too soft and sticky then keep in refrigerator for 30 minutes otherwise just go ahead with next step.
Take a portion and roll into circle in between your palms and shape it like a cookie. Top it up with chocolate chips the way you want.
Arrange them few inches apart in a baking tray. Bake into preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
It will be soft to touch once baked but once they cool it will be firm and look set around the edges.
Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
One cooled completely store them in air tight container.
