Leftover roti Churma Ladoo | Instant Ladoo | Chapati ke Laddu is a simple and easy to make indian sweet dish that can be made under 10 minutes.

However the taste and the texture of these ladoos is quite similar to the famous gujarati churma ladoo,  but here it is made with leftover or stale chapati.

Therefore chapati/roti ladoo is the best way to use leftover chapati. If you have some leftover roti, just add jaggery and  blend them together.

In addition to that, add some chopped nuts,  your instant churma ladoo is ready to eat!

Using leftovers and creating a new dish out of it is what makes me happy. leftover roti/ phulka/chapati ladoo is a perfect snack option or tiffin box idea for kids.

On earlier occasions also I have made and shared many recipes using leftovers like –

As few of rotis were lying in cassarole, it immediately clicked me how my Mom used to make Churma Ladoo/laddu adding jaggery or sugar and chopped dry nuts to it.

So here I am today sharing the very easy method to use leftover roti/chapati to make Churma Ladoo instantly.

As we like the soft texture for our ladoo, I haven’t roasted them dry on skillet.

If you wish to have them crisp textured, go ahead and roast chapati on tawa/skillet and then pulse it in the grinder.

Step by step instructions and pictorial presentation to make leftover roti laddu

Grind chapati/roti/fulka in a grinder and keep aside.

Grind the nuts. Give a nice pulse to dates to make it smooth paste.

Now transfer the chapti chura again to blender along with nuts powder and jaggery. Blend it nicely again and remove this to a bowl.

Once everything is combined well together, transfer this to a plate. Take a small portion and shape it round making ladoo.

With the help of your palms roll them tight by rolling it few times in between your palms.

Store it in airtight container or serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • Chapati made from wheat flour 4-5 around 1 cup
  • Jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Few dry dates kharik - finely chopped.
  • 1 tsp cardamom/ ilaichi powder optional
  • Few almonds cashews - chopped
  • Dessicated coconut - for coating

Instructions

  • Grind chapati/roti/fulka in a grinder and keep aside.
