Chocolate Mithai with best use of leftovers :
Being lady of the house, we have to look after small small things happening in and around the house. In conclusion, to manage kitchen well, is biggest task.
For instance many times there is some extra chapati lying in the casserole or dal lying in the fridge shouting out loud, take me over and make something interesting out of it.
So today i thought to share a very interesting & easy recipe from leftovers.
Few easily available ingredients required
In other words mix in few easily available ingredients into it which are easily available at home and voila….. delectable chocolate mithai is ready.
I am sure your family would love to have a piece of it. Above all they wouldn’t know that that it is made from Leftover Chapatis.
Step by step instructions to make leftover chapati chocolate mithai
In a heavy bottom pan/kadai put ghee. After that, add chapati chura of chapati, which is grinded in mixer previously. Saute it nicely till moisture from chapatis evoparates.
After that add Milk and sugar to it. Mix in chopped dry fruits.
Next add drinking chocolate, chocolate powder, dessicated coconut to it. Saute it for few minutes.
In addition mix grated feeka mawa/khoya. Bhuno it nicely on slow flame till mixture becomes thick and lumpy and comes together well like a mass.
To set Mithai :
Grease a mould or flat glass bowl. Transfer this mixture into the mold. Spread silvered kaju badam over it. Pat it & press with the back of spoon.
After that let it come to room temperature. It will become little hard in texture.
When cool cut it into desired shape.
Enjoy fudgy chewy Chocolate Mithai made from leftovers.

- Milk 2 cups (double the amount of crushed chapatis)
- Sugar ½ cup ( less or more according to your taste)
- 2 tsp pure ghee
- 4 tsp Dessicated coconut
- 3 tsp Drinking Choclate powder
- 1 tsp Cocoa Powder
- 50 gm Khoya/feeka mawa
- Slivered Kaju badam pista handful
