Samosa, a mouth-watering delicacy which I am sure no one can resist once it is served on plate.

Make this stylish bread samosa recipe, a very unique and interesting snack this Diwali/Deepavali to tantalise your tastebuds.

The tasty filling of boiled potatoes along with fresh/frozen green peas and some flavourful spices smeared on disc of bread and then covered beautifully with APF/maida dough pastry.

It’s then air fried, baked or deep fried and served with lip smacking coriander mint dip/Chutney.

It is one perfect savoury dish specially for festivities, when you are done with too many sweets, this comes as a welcome change.

While I have shared other interesting snacks on my blog earlier  like

Bread cheesy discs

Corn/makai kothimbir vadi

Cheesy beetroot tikkis

Sprouted kala chana kababs

Moong/green gram kababs

Nutritious sprouts misal baked tacos

and

Vada pav Fondue, this one is totally new, stylish and good looking snack.

Samosa favourite of one and all :

Who doesn’t love Samosa. This is the one dish extremely popular across the whole country.

It’s most loved street food after Vada pav here in Mumbai. While reading about the history of samosa on Google baba, I was amused to find that samosa was brought to our country from Middle East by its traders.

It is known as Sambusak and made with meat stuffing. Though we indians embraced it with so much of love and came up with our own version of vegetarian Samosa with variety of stuffings.

This dish is so apt to be served on all occasions. I vividly remember my Granny making the best samosa. She was the big influence we cousins took interest in basic cooking. She taught us the trick to make perfectly rolled up samosa.

On all important occasions or on festivals, I used to look forward to eat samosa made by my Granny. So much of nostalgia attached to this humble samosa.

Bread Samosa | Stylish bread samosa recipe, my favourite :

When I decided to put samosa post on my blog, as usual I was reluctant to put regular recipe of it. Beacuse that’s so very of me who wanted to have some twist to it.

And suddenly I realised seeing this wonderful recipe shared long back by one of the talented blogger Sonali Gupta.

So here I am sharing this wonderful festive kinda recipe with you all.

May the divine lights of Diwali sparkle your life with happiness, positivity, prosperity and illuminate every corner of your Home and heart.

Wish you all a very happy and safe Diwali/Deepawali.
