I am sure your kids would compliment you that it’s better than store bought. As my children are sucker of marshmallows I combined it with chocolate and voila…. the beautiful homemade bars were ready in a jiffy.

Chocolate marshmallow bars recipe can be a perfect treat for Christmas or Easter. It’s a best gift idea when you want to share it with your neighbours.

Add peanut butter or only crushed peanuts. If you don’t like adding dry nuts, omit it. The recipe is very versatile and can be customised to suit your needs.

 

 

Instructions to make Chocolate marshmallow bars recipe

In a microwave safe bowl put 400 grams of chopped chocolate. Temper it by putting it in microwave and melt it at the burst of 30 seconds each time till it melts completely.

Or you can melt the chocolate using double boiler method.

Line the baking tin with an aluminium foil at the bottom. For exact size first place the tin face down. Then spread the foil on it, like this you will get the exact size for foil.

Now take the foil and place it inside the tin.

Spread halves of marshmallows in the foil at the bottom. On the top of it pour tempered chocolate. Garnish with mixed dry fruits and transfer this in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Once it’s set fully, invert this on a plate and remove foil. Cut the chocolate bar into squares.

  • Marshmallows - 10 or more cut into halves
  • Cashews, Pistachios, almonds and walnuts chopped - as required
  • Aluminum foil - to line the pan/tin
