What is a Banoffee Pie| Classic Banoffee Pie?
Banoffee Pie is a delicious, sinful, and an eggless, classic English dessert. Banoffee here means banana+toffe. It has four different textured layers, which are flavour rich, decadent and super easy to make.
The 4 layers combine pie made of buttery biscuits, toffee sauce(caramel sauce) or caramelised condensed milk “Dulce De Leche”, bananas and whipped cream.
This dessert will make you fall in love with it once you taste it.
Banoffee pie derived its name from a combination of bananas and toffee. For making the toffee, I have used here homemade Dulce le leche, also known as caramlised condensed milk. It’s a quick no-bake dessert that’s so easy and effortless to make.

Dulce de leche is the other name for caramelised condensed milk and it can be easily made at home by using simple pressure cooker method.
The process involves cooking it on high heat in pressure cooker which makes condensed milk of thicker consistency and dark in colour.
