No cook Instant 3 Ingredient Modak recipe is a fusion version of traditional ukdiche modak. It is known as Oreo biscuit Modak also.
By using only 3 ingredients, this is an instant, no cook recipe that calls for oreo biscuits, Condensed milk and dessicated coconut. That’s it.
Because no cooking is involved to make these modaks, it gets ready under 10 minutes. Serve it to your guests on festivities, for a get together or a party.

Experiment with variety of Modak is mandatory for me during the yearly visit of Bappa. However, everytime I try to make a unique variety like Dalia/broken wheat modak with caramelised fruits and Ukdiche modak with oats and these experiments were highly appreciated.
Here in India, Ganesh Chaturthi is a much celebrated festival in the western and southern parts of India. It’s a ten day long celebration.
This 10 day festival is celebrated by welcoming Lord Ganesha and the atmosphere is electric with fasting and feasting. In addition to that, everyday the offering/Prasad of Modak is must to complete the Pooja.
No cook instant Modak Recipe, a must try
During the puja times of Lord Ganesha, in the morning and evening, Modak is very important and a must thing that is offered as Bhog and prasad.
Modak is loved sweet believed to be favoured by Lord Ganesha is offered to him. Traditionally a modak is made by steaming a rice flour dumpling, which is stuffed with coconut jaggery mixture with some condiments.
But today however, one can find an array of exciting varieties across the sweet shops and in the homes of everyone.
This instant Oreo biscuit Modak is one such delicious variant of Modak you can try. These modaks will definitely hit that sweet spot.
So here I have come up with my version of instant no cook modak with oreo biscuits. Apart from only 3 ingredients, this recipe requires a Modak mold to shape these Modaks.
In conclusion, serve instant, 3 Ingredient, Oreo biscuit modak as a prashad or as snack along with Maharashtrian Karanji | Coconut Gujiya, Puran poli, Vada pav, Mumbai Pav bhaji, Kothimbir vadi or Misal pav.

Steps to make no cook Instant 3 ingredient Modak Recipe
To make stuffing
First make stuffing to begin making Oreo Modak Recipe
In a mixing bowl, remove the white creamy portion from the center of oreo biscuits.
To this mix dessicated coconut well. Keep this aside.
To make outer cover
Now take all the biscuit halves and grind it in mixer to a fine powder. Take it out in a bowl.
Add condensed milk to the biscuits powder and knead a smooth dough. Keep it aside.
To shape Modak
Grease the Modak mold with little ghee. Close the modak and lock it with red key.
Take a small portion of the biscuit dough mixture in your palm and roll it.
Press this mixture in the mold and spread it across the wall of the mold pressing with your finger leaving the centre hollow.
Now stuff the hollow centre with cream-coconut mixture. Seal the bottom of mold with biscuit dough.
Unlock the key of modak and gently un mold the modak on a serving platter.

- Desiccated coconut 3 tbsp
