Baked Sweet Potato (Air fryer method) is a quick way to make a delicious side dish that is vegan and gluten-free, with a minimal effort. It comes together in around 20 minutes with just few handy ingredients to get that soft and fluffy center with a crispy skin.

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the whole sweet potatoes. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Then, poke several holes with the help of fork.
  • This step helps the steam to escape and prevents the potatoes from bursting in the air fryer.
  • Brush the sweet potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle some salt. Keep it aside.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes. Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 18-20 minutes, until they’re fork tender, flipping it halfway through.
  • When it’s done, remove them, slit them at the center. Enjoy this as it is.
  • Or
  • You may garnish it (purely optional) with Roasted walnuts or pistachios, pink salt, coriander leaves and a dash of red chilli powder. Sprinkle some lime juice and dig in.
