Any hummus recipe can’t be easier than this as it’s just assemble all the ingredients, dump them in blender, blend and it’s done.

A wow twist to a classic hummus
I think authentic, plain chickpeas hummus reigns supreme, but I do love to create and play with fun flavors.
A great variation of regular classic hummus, this recipe uses red kidney beans and is as creamy and delicious.
Serve this at a party, home gathering as a snack or an appetizer. It’s surely is a party pleaser and works well as a delicious spread in a wrap or sandwich instead of mayonnaise.
We just loved it. Though I am not a Red kidney bean fan, but this hummus has bowled me over.
I have served this with vegetable crudites and baked nacho chips.

We make a version of Rajma hummus to go with our sandwiches. It doesn’t have cumin and yogurt. These ingredients must be making it tastier and smoother. Iw ill add them to my next batch.
Addition of cumin and yogurt gives it a beautiful flavour. Do try this way next time Seema.
When Chickpea hummus is commonly made here-n-there, love to see totally a new idea with red kidney beans. Would love to try it someday.
Please give it a try Shailender. If you love Rajma then this is for rajma lovers for sure.
I just love how you have gave a twist to the classic hummus recipe. I would definitely try out this
Glad to know Amrita. Do try this.
Beautiful pinkish colour hummus Lata, and so different. Adding cashew nuts and yogurt must be adding so much flavour and gives a creamy texture. Delicious looking red kidney hummus.
Thank you Mayuri. Yes the creamy and nutty flavour added so much character to hummus.
Usually we add some other ingredients to the normal chickpeas hummus but kidney beans hummus is absolutely amazing. perfect creamy texture.
Thank you Hem Lata.
Haven’t yet tried rajma hummus. Your recipe is easy and tempting. Will try this one soon!
Glad you liked it. Thanks Avin.
What a lovely hummus recipe that is with red kidney beans. Adding cashews must have made it so creamy and decadent.
Yes cashews were the star of the recipe Pavani. The creamy texture was too good.
Kidney Beans hummus sounds such a healthy snd flavorful treat especially, with the cashews amd yogurt going in along with spices. Would love to have it as a spread on my sandwiches.
Thanks Poonam.
That is a wonderful twist to the traditional chickpea hummus. Wonderful idea to alternate these different beans to make hummus. Love the idea of using cashews for added creaminess.
Thanks Sandhya.
