4 ingredient Mango Frooti Recipe | Mango Fruity

Mango Frooti is just 4 ingredient, delicious, vegan, gluten free, easy to make, preservatives free, no artificial colors or flavors, 100% natural, famous summer drink recipe. It's also known as mazaa or mango fruity.

Ingredients

  • 3 Ripe mangoes preferably Alfonso
  • 1 Raw mango
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 liter chilled water

Instructions

  • Peel and chop both variety of  mangoes. Grind them in mixer jar and add half a cup of water to make a smooth puree.
  • Transfer this puree to a wide pan and switch on the flame. Bring it to boil and add sugar and 1/4 cup of water.
  • Keep stirring in constantly. After around 5 minutes you will notice that the mango mixture will start to thicken. Cook this for 2 more minutes and switch off the flame.
  • Now strain this mixture through sieve so that all the fibre from the mixture is separated. Cool this mango mixture completely.
  • To this, add around 2 liter of chilled water while you serve. Or store this into airtight glass jar and refrigerate for further use.

Notes

1. To make this recipe I have used Alphanso mangoes. You may use any variety of mango but make sure the fruit is less fibrous.
2. Quantity of sugar depends on the sourness of mangoes, it can be increased or decreased.
3. Before switching off the flame, you may add 1 tsp of lemon juice to increase the shelf life of frooti. I haven't as I love to make this fresh and in smaller quantities.
