Pomegranate and Green tea Martini | Non alcoholic Martini

This pomegranate and green tea martini is a fresh, fruity, non alcoholic and totally scrumptious drink. Most people make pomegranate martini with vodka, but this one is made using green tea.

Ingredients

To coat the rim of glasses

  • Lemon juice
  • Red chili powder
  • Chat masala

To make martini

  • Green Tea 1 cup
  • Pomegranate juice 1 cup
  • Juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • Ginger juliennes 2
  • Sugar/maple syrup 1 tsp more or less
  • Pomegranate arils 3 spoons
  • Ice cubes few
  • Mint leaves few to garnish

Instructions

To coat the rim of glasses

  • Dip the rim of both glasses first in lemon juice and then in red chili powder and chat masala

To make martini

  • Make green tea by brewing 1/2 tsp leaves in hot water. Or you can make it by dipping green tea bag in hot water.
  • For pomegranate juice, pulse the pomegranate arils in the mixer with few spoons of water. Strain and keep aside in the fridge.
  • In a mortar pestle pound pomegranate arils, along with ginger julinnes, and lemon juice.
  • In a bowl add pomegranate juice, sugar/maple syrup and green tea. Mix and add ice cubes
  • Now add pounded mixture of pomegranate arils to green tea mix. Place this in fridge to chill.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled.
