Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 3 1/2 - 4 cups filtered water

Instructions

  • Soak the raw almonds for at least 12 hours or overnight. Otherwise, they will not blend as nicely.
  • Once almonds have soaked, drain/rinse the water. At this stage you may peel the almonds, I didn't.
  • Add them a blender, pulse it with 1/2 cup of water for few seconds. Next, add 1 cup of water.
  • Blend on high for few minutes. In the last, add remaining 1 cup of water and blend well.
  • Strain through a muslin cloth or sieve,  squeezing as much milk out of the pulp as possible.
  • Store in an airtight glass jar!
