Moong ke kabab | Green gram kabab is a perfect replacement of meat, for all the vegetarian kabab lovers, who don't want to give up on Kababs.

Ingredients
  • Boiled whole moong/Green grams 200 grams
  • Boiled & mashed potatoes 2
  • Spring onion green part chopped few leaves
  • Bread pieces 4 soaked & drained
  • Garlic & green chilli paste( 8 garlic flakes)
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli  powder 1tsp
  • Lemon juice approx 2 tsp
  • Lachha pyaz/ rings of onion to garnish
Instructions
  1. Soak moong/green gram for 10 minutes in hot water or for half an hour in normal water.
  2. Pressure cook it upto 2 whistles. Drain water if any. It shouldn’t be mushy at all.
  3. In a bowl put boiled moong, boiled potatoes soaked & drained bread pieces and some chopped spring onion greens.
  4. Add above mentioned masalas.
  5. Mix everything together gently and make  kebabs. You can make any shape of your choice.
  6. Keep in fridge for about half an hour.
  7. Take out and deep fry.
  8. Serve hot with some spicy green chutney, tomato sauce and lachha pyaz/rings of onion.
