Condensed milk Recipe | Homemade Condensed milk requires just 3 prime ingredients, milk and sugar and few minutes. It's preservatives free, hygienic and cost friendly too.

  • 500 ml of milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp of unsalted butter (optional)
  1. In a nonstick pan add milk. Bring it to a rolling boil. Add sugar. Keep the flame on high.
  2. Once it starts boiling turn the flame on to medium and keep stirring it.
  3. Stir and cook till colour changes to pale yellow.
  4. Cook for few more minutes.
  5. it would take almost 15 - 20 minutes to get ready. Once it starts to thicken remove it from fire.
  6. In the last mix butter for that glossy look. This is purely optional, you may avoid it. Keep it aside to cool down completely.
  7. Transfer this into glass jar, bowl or bottle of not using immediately.
  8. Store this in fridge.
  9. It lasts good upto 7 days in the fridge
  10. Cool it and use whenever required.
