Banana Chocolate Mug Cake | Mug Cake Recipe is an instant version of cake that is made in microwave in 2 minutes when you want to satisfy your sudden sweet cravings.

Ingredients
  • Over ripe Banana - 1
  • Castor sugar - ¼ cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1tsp
  • Refined flour/maida - ¼ cup
  • Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder - ¼ teaspoon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chocolate chips - ¼ cup
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - ¼ cup
  • Vanilla ice cream scoops For topping
  • Chocolate sauce for drizzling
  • Icing sugar for dusting
Instructions
  1. Peel and mash banana with a fork in a large wide mug.
  2. Mix castor sugar, vanilla essence and beat well.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together refined flour, baking powder, pinch of salt and cocoa powder. Mix this with banana mixture.
  4. Thereafter to this add ΒΌ cup chocolate chips and oil and mix well. To this add milk and mix well. Top it with 2 tablespoons chocolate chips.
  5. Preheat microwave for 1 minute.
  6. Place a paper towel underneath the mug into the microwave so as to catch any spills of batter if mug cake overflows.
  7. Micro high the mug cake on full power for 2 minutes. Remove and check with toothpick inserted.
  8. Please note that each microwave is different therefore settings may vary and it can yield different results. So keep a close watch after 2 minutes.
  9. While serving top with vanilla ice cream scoop, drizzle chocolate sauce and sprinkle some more chocolate chips. Dust icing sugar over it, and serve warm.
