Ingredients
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ¼ cup chopped capsicum
  • ¾ cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1+1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1+1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • ½ cup grated processed cheese
  • ¼ cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream
  • For Serving
  • herb garlic bread or pav/dinner rolls
Instructions
  1. Heat the oil & butter in a deep non-stick pan, add the garlic paste and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Once it turns pinkish, to this add chopped onions and capsicum and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in the tomatoes and 1 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  4. Mash the vegetable with help of a masher, while stirring occasionally.
  5. According to your taste, add & adjust Pav bhaji masala quantity, chilli powder, cheese, milk and salt.
  6. Stir it and mix well. Cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  7. Allow the mixture to cool, and blend in a mixer to a coarse paste.
  8. Transfer the mixture back into the pan, and to this add the fresh cream & mix well.
  9. Let it simmer on medium flame for 1 more minute.
  10. Now it's time to serve Indian style spicy pav bhaji fondue.
  11. Remove it and pour in fondue pot.
  12. Place it on the fondue stand with burner ignited.
  13. Serve immediately with herb bread or pav toasted in butter for dipping.
