To make Golden milk| Haldi wala Doodh you need just 2 main ingredients i.e. Turmeric & Milk. It's a is a medicinal drink from the treasure trove of our ancestors.

Ingredients
  • Water 1 glass
  • Almond milk as required (method to make it shared below)
  • Saffron/kesar 6 strands
  • Sunth/dry ginger powder ¼ Tsp
  • Dates de seed & chopped 6
  • Haldi/Turmeric ½ Tsp or fresh Turmeric grated.
Instructions
  1. To make Almond milk at Home :
  2. Soak 15 almonds in water overnight.
  3. Drain the water.
  4. Add 15 almonds in a blender with half cup water and blend until creamy and smooth.
  5. Adjust the consistency by adding more water and transfer it in to a bowl.
  6. Homemade almond milk stays good for a few days in the fridge.
  7. So make this fresh, whenever you want to consume it.
  8. To make Golden milk| Haldi wala Doodh :
  9. Boil the 1 glass of water in a pan.
  10. Add almond milk to it.
  11. If you are using fresh Turmeric, add it by grating at this stage into milk.
  12. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and strain it and proceed further.
  13. Once milk comes to rolling boil, add kesar strands.
  14. Next add de seeded and chopped dates into it.
  15. Add dry ginger powder. Next mix in Turmeric powder.
  16. Mix well and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  17. Pour into cup/glass. Serve warm.
